Amy Butler - Art of the Midwest Studio

Amy Butler is an artist and designer who is known for her fresh modern approach to the printed fabric. Through her spirited combination of color and patterns, she brings a whole new style and life to the home, fashion and craft world.

Influenced at an early age by her mother and grandmother, Amy learned to sew at only seven years of age and always loved to create.  She attended art school where she developed her skills in fashion and surface design. She went on to write lifestyle and décor articles for Country Living Magazine while still sharing her creative designs by making small passport bags which she sold to select area shops.

In 1992, Amy and her artist and photographer husband, David, started the Art of the Midwest studio in Granville, Ohio.  Today, they and a small staff of friends continue to distribute Amy Butler fabrics, patterns, handbags, design/project books and home décor products worldwide. With millions of hits on her website each year and numerous public and editorial appearances, Amy’s brand of products has become globally recognized for creativity, quality and great style.   To learn more about Amy Butler and her amazing products, visit www.amybutlerdesign.com.
